Executive Chef

Adam Savage has been appointed executive chef at The Sagamore, a historic hotel located on beautiful Lake George in Bolton Landing, New York. In his new position, Savage will oversee the catering and cuisine of the hotel’s dining venues including La Bella Vita, The Club Grill, The Pavilion, Mr. Brown’s and Caldwell’s.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Savage into this new position,” said Tom Guay, general manager of The Sagamore. “His vast and impressive experience, combined with his innovative techniques and extensive culinary training, will elevate The Sagamore’s overall dining experience to a new level of quality and excellence.”
Most recently, Savage served as executive chef at the AAA Four Diamond Awarded Delray Beach Marriott. During his tenure at The Delray Beach Marriott, Chef Savage was a guest celebrity chef at the 2009 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and was invited to cook at the legendary James Beard House in New York City on December 3, 2009.
Prior to his position at The Delray Beach Marriott, Savage was recruited by the AAA Four Diamond Brazilian Court Hotel, earning recognition with such organizations as the International Wine and Food Society and Knights of the Vine. He went on to hone his considerable talents to reposition and restore the landmark reputation to the Chancellor Restaurant by implementing his own cuisine. During this time, he also received the Five Diamond award by the Academy of Hospitality Sciences, The DiRona Award and the Wine Spectator Award.
Chef Savage has trained and worked with world class chefs including Jean Louis Palladin, Francesco Ricci and Gervais Henric. Chef Savage is a certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation.
