Originally built in 1883 and lovingly restored, the Historic Hotel features clapboard siding and classic architecture. There are 137 elegant guest rooms (including 54 suites) with updated furnishings, high-speed Internet connection and a choice of garden or lake views. The Historic Hotel rooms and suites are ideal for vacationing couples or anyone desiring a traditional hotel experience. Many of the resort's restaurants and the spa are located within the hotel.

Rooms and one-bedroom parlor suites are richly appointed in club-style ambiance combined with original art and decorative accessories. Marble baths with pedestal sinks pamper every guest. Governor's rooms and one or two-bedroom suites offer panoramic views of Lake George. The two-room suite is designed as a contemporary retreat with overstuffed chairs and ottomans and comfortable pillow-top bedding. Bathrooms are accented with marble and pedestal sinks. All rooms and suites in our Historic Hotel are non-smoking. Please note that pets are not allowed at the resort.
