At check-in, you will receive a guest charge card (which we ask you to carry with you at all times). When using the restaurants, shops and recreational facilities at the resort, this card will serve as your identification as well as for charging purposes. Should you misplace the card, please contact the front desk immediately.
For your convenience, a daily room gratuity in the amount of $9.00 per person (subject to change) is added to your bill and is distributed to resort staff. For your convenience, an automatic 18% gratuity is added to all Food and Beverage charges.
Check-in time begins at 4:00 P.M. We will do our best to assist you to your room prior to this time if it is ready. Your patience is appreciated in allowing us to provide you with the best possible service.
Checkout time is 11:00 A.M. We ask that you respect our 11:00 A.M check out time, as we do need to prepare our accommodations for incoming guests. Should you have a late departure, luggage storage and changing areas are available at the Main Hotel. Please call the bellman for assistance. Pending availability, any departures past our checkout time will be at a rate of $75.00 up until 1:00 P.M., at which time a full day's rate will be charged. Please dial the Front Desk at extension 6020 for availability. Thank you for your cooperation with these requests.
On your day of departure, you may review your charges by using our video check-out system. Follow the on-screen instructions to approve your payment
The Sagamore is smoke-free in the accommodations and public spaces including restaurants.
Advance reservations should be made for all facilities. If you have not made reservations for dining or recreational activities prior to arrival, we encourage you to make dining, spa services, golf tee times and tennis reservations immediately upon your arrival at the resort.
For dinner reservations, contact our Guest Services office at extension 5100 between 7:00 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. After 5:30 P.M., please contact the restaurants directly.
To allow us to accommodate all of our guests, should your plans change, please cancel your dinner reservations by 4:00 P.M. This will avoid a $30 per person "no-show" charge from being applied to your room account.
For recreational activities, please call each individual outlet to book same day appointments.
Continuous shuttle service is available throughout the island from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M (till 1:00 A.M. during our Summer Season). Transportation to the golf course and Club Grill is available from the front of the Main Hotel every 30 minutes on the quarter hour beginning at 6:45 A.M. For transportation to the Albany County Airport or the Amtrak Station, please make reservations at least 24 hours in advance with our Transportation Office, extension 6015.
We appreciate everyone's cooperation in adhering to The Sagamore dress code tradition. Resort attire ranges from beachwear and casual to elegantly casual. Please refer to the individual restaurant or recreational outlet for specific dress codes.
During the day, dress may be casual, but we must insist that shirts, shoes and bathing suit cover-ups be worn at all times in public areas.
To help us maintain the resort ambiance after sunset, we suggest appropriate attire for your dining engagements. Please feel free to look your best when enjoying our dining and entertainment facilities.
