Our Donald Ross designed 18-hole championship golf course is located on the mainland. Golf carts and starting times are required. Please contact our Pro Shop for tee times and fees. Ext. 6380.

Golf facilities include a putting green, driving range, locker rooms, golf pro shop, and our restaurant and lounge, The Club Grill. Rental clubs and shoes are available and our golf staff offers both individual and group lessons.

Proper golf attire is required: collared shirts, slacks, or Bermuda shorts and golf shoes. No blue jeans please.

Our Golf Professional will determine whether a junior shall have playing privileges. Beginners are allowed on the course only during later afternoon slow play.

Transportation to the golf course is from the front of the Main Hotel or in front of the Reception Center every 30 minutes on the quarter hour beginning at 6:45 A.M.

Two Har Tru courts and two outdoor latexite-surfaced courts are available in addition to one indoor latexite court and one racquetball court. Reservations are required. Please contact The Fitness Center for times and fees. Ext. 6390.

Our tennis staff is available to give both individual and group lessons. Proper tennis attire is required, including tennis shoes.

The Fitness Center features complimentary use of the latest in fitness equipment, challenging exercise classes and yoga. Open from 6:30 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., the Fitness Center is located in the South Wing of the hotel one level below the pool. Please register in advance for step aerobic classes. The Fitness Center is available to all guests 16 yrs of age and over at no charge. Your room key will access the fitness center. Ext. 6192.

Please carry your guest identification card when using the resort facilities.

Both the men and women's spas offer steam rooms, saunas, a whirlpool bath, locker rooms, showers and all spa amenities for a nominal fee. Massages, European facials, herbal wraps and signature treatments are available daily. Appointments are required. See our spa brochure for details and descriptions. Women's Spa, ext. 6081. The pool and a large whirlpool bath are one level below the spa. Locker rooms and towels are available. Your room key will access the pool.

The Beach is located south of the Main Hotel by the south dock. To access the beach from the Main Hotel, please use the lower level exit by Mr. Brown's Pub or in the pool area.

There are two supervised swimming areas and plenty of room to sunbathe and enjoy the beauty of the lake and mountains. Towels are available from the Waterfront Staff. Ext. 6030.

The Sagamore offers motorboat rentals, fishing guides, sailboat charters, sightseeing cruises, para sailing and water-skiing. Advance reservations are recommended for full-day rentals. Hourly boat rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. Ext. 6030.

Set sail for 2 1/2 hours or longer on Lake George with a trained instructor aboard the high-performance Colgate 26 sport boat. Ext. 6104.

We are pleased to offer cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and ice-skating at our Nordic Center located at the golf course, (weather permitting). Complimentary transportation is offered to the Gore Mountain Ski area and departs from the hotel each morning at 8:00 A.M., returning at 4:00 P.M.
