Resort Update

During the last four months we have been busy getting ready for another exciting season. Throughout April we will be open for group business and on Friday April 30th we will once again open for our leisure travel guests.

 Much has been done over the last four months and we will continue to make significant improvements designed to enhance the guest experience. Last years addition of the outdoor pool has been an overwhelming success. La Bella Vita along with Caldwell’s and the outdoor deck are also wonderful additions to our offerings. We are  pleased with the 37 new guest rooms, and if during your stay you would like to see one please do not hesitate to stop at the desk and we would be happy to give you a tour.

In and around the resort we continue to make improvements. We have finished putting a new roof on the historic hotel and the staircases in the main building have been redone. In addition, new heating and air conditioning units have been added to every room in the main hotel along with refinishing the lobby floors and enhancing the front desk to support six check in stations.

Down at the waterfront we replaced the main dock and will be adding new decking between the lower terrace and the Pavilion restaurant. Next the Cabana has been demolished and in its place will be our newest food and beverage addition, The Boathouse. This lake front bar and food venue will provide deck seating along with a full service bar with what will be some of the best views of Lake George. Separate men’s and women’s rest rooms will also be added to The Boathouse restaurant for your convenience.

 Stop there? No way! We are in the process of replacing the siding, decking and walkways for the Lodges. Families are a huge part of our business and we are thrilled to be converting the tennis building into an activity center full of great activities. For starters there will be an 18 hole miniature golf course, Wii game stations and an indoor wiffle ball field ripe for the next Babe Ruth!
