The Sagamore Resort continues to offer the finest golf in Lake George. Our 18-hole Donald Ross-designed course showcases breathtaking vistas of Lake George and the Adirondack Mountains along with naturally routed holes that provide challenges for players of all levels. We are also pleased to offer professional one-on-one golf instruction along with an award-winning Pro Shop and dining at The Club Grill Steakhouse overlooking the course’s first hole.

PGA Merchandiser of the Year
This award recognizes those PGA professionals who have demonstrated superior skills as merchandisers in the promotion of golf. The award is given for excellence in golf shop operations in three categories: Private, Resort, and Public/Municipal/Military/Semi-private. The following criteria are applied to all awards: PGA member in good standing, credit rating with the industry, overall credit rating, community involvement, merchandising ability and techniques, inventory levels and turn rate, shop display, and attention to detail. This award was established in 1978.
